How to play Bet9ja Lotto

Playing Bet9ja Lotto is simple. Now available to play on desktop and mobile, a total of 90 balls are placed into the lottery drum, numbered 1 to 90. Five playing balls are drawn per event.

After selecting the lotto draw where you want to place a bet, you can pick from one to 20 different numbers and four or five different colours. Numbers and colours can also be chosen for you. Available bet types will then appear based on your selections.

You can then choose your stake and place your bet. Your potential winnings will be calculated by multiplying each individual stake by the odds. All draws are streamed live multiple times a day.

Bet types

PERM bets

The PERM (number) decides the amount of combination bets (permutations that are placed).

For example: If someone chooses five numbers and selects PERM2, they bet on all of the possible combinations of two-number winning combinations. In this example, a total of 10 individual bets are made. 

In sports betting terms, this would be placing 10 ‘Double’ bets based on five selections.

NAP bets

For NAP bets, all selected numbers must be drawn. If someone chooses five numbers and selects NAP5, this means all of the five selected numbers must be drawn to win the bet.

In sports betting terms, this would be placing a multiple with five selections.

First Number Drawn

Your chosen number must be the first winning number drawn to win the bet.

Colours

You have the choice to bet on 4+ or 5 colours. Betting on 4+ means if four or all five of the winning numbers from the Main Draw are of the chosen colour, you win the odds for Colour 4+ (Odds 15).

Betting on five means all five of the winning numbers from the Main Draw must be of the chosen colour. You will win the odds for Colour 5 (Odds 200).

Bet9ja Lotto has two draws; the Main Draw and 2nd Chance. 2nd Chance odds are only applicable for NAP, PERM, and First Number Drawn bets, with reduced odds.
