In Red Dog, the object of the game is to predict whether the value of a randomly selected card falls between the value of two cards drawn previously by the dealer.
8 Standard decks of cards are used, and are re-shuffled after each round. Each deck is made up of 4 suits, Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Clubs.
Each suit has 13 cards, each card has a numeric value, as shown below;
How To Play

The dealer draws two cards and places them face up on the table. A Red Dog marker is then placed on the table indicating the spread between the two cards the dealer has drawn.
There are then 3 different scenarios:
|When the value of the two cards drawn by the dealer are consecutive (eg, a 3 and a 4) this is called a consecutive hand. In this case, the dealer will not draw a third card, the hand is declared a push and your original wager is returned.
|When the dealer draws two cards which are not consecutive or the same, this is called a non-consecutive hand. In this case, the dealer will announce the spread between the two drawn cards and place a Red Dog on the table indicating the spread. The spread is number of values that fall between the values of the two cards drawn by the dealer. Eg if the two cards drawn by the dealer were 6 and Jack, the spread is 4 as there are four values between the 2 and Jack (7, 8, 9, & 10). When the spread is marked by the Red Dog, you have the option to raise your wager, (by the amount of the original wager), by clicking on Hit prior to the dealer drawing the third card. Alternatively, you may stand on your original wager amount by clicking on the Stand button. Once you have clicked on Hit or Stand the dealer draws a third card. You win if the value of the third card falls between the value of the two cards originally drawn by the dealer. However, if the third card drawn is the same as either of the first two, the bet loses. There is no push in non-consecutive hands.
|Pair Hand / 3 of a Kind
|A pair hand occurs when the dealer draws two cards of the same value (eg, two Jacks). In this case, the dealer will automatically draw a third card. If the value of the third card is the same as the previous two, you win with a payoff of 11:1. If the value of the third card is different from the previous two, the hand is declared a push and your original wager is returned.
