The Game
In Punto Banco, the object of the game is to bet on the result of 2 hands. You bet which hand (Player or Banker) will have the highest total value, or that the two hands will tie.
Cards
6 Standard decks of cards are used, and are re-shuffled after each round. Each deck is made up of 4 suits, Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Clubs.
Each suit has 13 cards, each card has a numeric value, as shown below;

Value | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
How To Play
Select the value of your chips, the values are 10, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1k, 10k. 1k will be the default
Place your chips on one or more of the Player, Banker, or Tie spots by clicking on them. Each click will place a chip of the selected value on the spot. Different chip values may be used by changing your chip selection.
If you bet on more than one of the betting spots, each spot will be treated as an individual bet.
Once you are happy with your selection, click on the Deal button and your bet(s) will be placed.
Two cards each are then dealt, face up, to the player and the banker.
A third card may be dealt to either or both the player and the banker based on the following three-card-rules. These rules are compulsory decisions and therefore automatic.
Player’s Third Card Rule
- If either the player or the banker have a total of 8 or 9 on the first two cards, no further cards are drawn. The resulting hand is called a natural and the hand is over.
- If the player’s total is less than or equal to 5, the player draws a third card.
Banker’s Third Card Rule
- If the banker’s total is 2 or less, the banker draws a card regardless of the player’s third card value.
- If the banker’s total is 3, the banker draws a third card unless the player’s third card is an 8.
- If the banker’s total is 4, the banker draws a third card unless the player’s third card is 0, 1, 8, or 9.
- If the banker’s total is 5, the banker draws a third card if the player’s third card is 4, 5, 6, or 7.
- If the banker’s total is 6, the banker draws a third card if the players third card is a 6 or 7.
- If the banker total is 7, then the bank stands.
