The Game

In Red Dog, the object of the game is to predict whether the value of a randomly selected card falls between the value of two cards drawn previously by the dealer.

Cards

 8 Standard decks of cards are used, and are re-shuffled after each round. Each deck is made up of 4 suits, Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Clubs.

Each suit has 13 cards, each card has a numeric value, as shown below;

How To Play

Select the value of your chips, the values are 10, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1k, 10k. 1k will be the default

Place your chips on the Place Bet betting spot by clicking on it.  Each click will place a chip of the selected value on the spot. Different chip values may be used by changing your chip selection.

Once you are happy with your selection, click on the Deal button and your bet will be placed.

The dealer draws two cards and places them face up on the table. A Red Dog marker is then placed on the table indicating the spread between the two cards the dealer has drawn.

There are then 3 different scenarios:

Consecutive Hand When the value of the two cards drawn by the dealer are consecutive (eg, a 3 and a 4) this is called a consecutive hand. In this case, the dealer will not draw a third card, the hand is declared a push and your original wager is returned.
Non-Consecutive Hand When the dealer draws two cards which are not consecutive or the same, this is called a non-consecutive hand. In this case, the dealer will announce the spread between the two drawn cards and place a Red Dog on the table indicating the spread. The spread is number of values that fall between the values of the two cards drawn by the dealer. Eg if the two cards drawn by the dealer were 6 and Jack, the spread is 4 as there are four values between the 2 and Jack (7, 8, 9, & 10).   When the spread is marked by the Red Dog, you have the option to raise your wager, (by the amount of the original wager), by clicking on Hit prior to the dealer drawing the third card. Alternatively, you may stand on your original wager amount by clicking on the Stand button. Once you have clicked on Hit or Stand the dealer draws a third card.   You win if the value of the third card falls between the value of the two cards originally drawn by the dealer. However, if the third card drawn is the same as either of the first two, the bet loses. There is no push in non-consecutive hands.
Pair Hand / 3 of a Kind A pair hand occurs when the dealer draws two cards of the same value (eg, two Jacks). In this case, the dealer will automatically draw a third card. If the value of the third card is the same as the previous two, you win with a payoff of 11:1. If the value of the third card is different from the previous two, the hand is declared a push and your original wager is returned.

Table Limits

Players have the option to set the minimum and maximum limits on the table by clicking ‘Table Limits’ the limits are:

Game Controls

Slip ID The current SlipID is displayed once the game has been started. When viewing your bet history, your bets are displayed under their associated Slip ID which is the Bet ID rounded down to the nearest 100. For example, if your Bet ID was 1234567891101, the relevant Slip ID would be 1234567891100.
Speed This allows you to control the speed of the game. Click and drag the control to the left to slow, or to the right to speed up.
Total Stake This display shows the total amount that will be deducted from your balance when you place your bet.
Table Limits This control opens the Table Limits details, showing minimum and maximum stake limits.
Chip Selector Chip Selector – This allows you to change the value of your chips.
Deal Deal – This control allows you to place your bet and deal the cards.
Raise Raise – This control allows you to raise your wager by the amount of the original wager prior to the dealer drawing the third card.
Call Call – This control allows you to refuse a wager raise prior to the dealer drawing the third card.
Double Double – This control places double the chip selection that was placed on your previous bet.
Same Bet Same Bet – This control, only available after a bet has finished, allows you to place on the table the same chip selections you made for your previous bet.
Undo Undo – This control allows you to undo your last action. Eg if you last placed a chip on the table, by clicking on Undo you will remove the chip.
Redo Redo – This control allows you to redo your previous Undo action. Eg if you placed a chip then clicked Undo to remove it from the table then clicked Redo, the chip would be put back on the table.
Clear Clear – This control allows you to remove all chips from the table simultaneously.
Rebet Rebet – This control, only available after a bet has finished, allows you to bet with the same chip selections you made for your previous bet.
New Game New Game – This button starts a new game.

Payouts

All winning and raise wagers in non-consecutive hands are paid at odds determined by the spread.
