The Game

The objective of Sette e Mezzo is to gain the highest possible hand total without exceeding 7½.

To Start the Game

When the game opens, the Preferences screen, shown below, is displayed. Select the deck design, card back, and table color you wish to use.

Using the radial buttons at the bottom of the game screen, whether or not you wish to see card numbers on cards.

Click on Save to save your preferences, or Cancel to make no changes.

Cards

A single deck of 40 cards of the selected deck design is used.  The deck is shuffled between games, and consists of 4 suits. Each card has a numeric value. Face cards are worth half a point each, whereas cards from the ace to seven are worth their nominal value.

You can choose from 5 different decks, Napoletane, Piacentine, Siciliane, Piemontesi & International

How to Play

Select the value of your chips. The currency will reflect the currency of your account. To select a chip value, simply click on the chip of the value you require on the edge of the table. The following chip values are available: 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 1k, 10k

To make your selection, click on the area of the table of your choice.  Every click will place on the table a chip of the value you selected. Different chip values may be used on different bets by selecting a different chip value after each bet.

Each betting spot on the table is a separate bet.

Once you are happy with your selection, click on Deal and your bet will be placed.

The Banker (dealer) deals one card face down to each active betting spot, then one to himself.

Player Hand Play

For each of your hands, you may Hit and/or Stand. If your hand Bust’s, it will be marked accordingly.

Dealer Hand Play

Once you have finished playing your hands, the Banker’s unseen card is turned over.

If all your hands have Bust, the game ends.

Otherwise the Banker may Hit and/or Stand

Once the Banker’s hand has been played, the result of each of your hands is determined and any winnings are shown on the table.

Doppio 7                        This is two 7’s
Sette e Mezzo Realissimo This is 7½ in two cards, one of the cards being the Joker. The Joker is the King of Coins in the Napoletane, Piacentine, and Siciliane deck designs, and the King of Diamonds in the Piemontesi, Genovesi and International deck designs
Sette e Mezzo Reale This is 7½ in two cards, one 7 and one picture card
Sette e Mezzo Classic This is 7½ in more than two cards

Game Controls

Slip ID The current SlipID is displayed once the game has been started. When viewing your bet history, your bets are displayed under their associated Slip ID which is the Bet ID rounded down to the nearest 100. For example, if your Bet ID was 1234567891101, the relevant Slip ID would be 1234567891100.
Speed This allows you to control the speed of the game. Click and drag the control to the left to slow, or to the right to speed up.
Total Stake This display shows the total amount that will be deducted from your balance when you place your bet.
Table Limits This control opens the Table Limits details, showing minimum and maximum stake limits.
Preferences This control opens the Preferences screen, allowing you to change your previously selected game preferences.
Chip Selector This allows you to change the value of your chips.
Deal This control allows you to place your bet and deal the cards.
Hit This control allows you to accept further cards (on hands where you do not have 7½) until you either Stand or Bust
Stand This control allows you to refuse further cards (on hands where you do not have 7½.
Hit and Double This control allows you to double your bet and take further cards (on hands where you do not have 7½) until you either Stand or Bust.
Stand and Double This control allows you to double your bet and refuse more cards (on hands where you do not have 7½).
Double This control places double the chip selection that was placed on your previous bet
Same Bet This control, only available after a bet has finished, allows you to place on the table the same chip selections you made for your previous bet.
Undo This control allows you to undo your last action. Eg if you last placed a chip on the table, by clicking on Undo you will remove the chip.
Redo This control allows you to redo your previous Undo action. Eg if you placed a chip then clicked Undo to remove it from the table then clicked Redo, the chip would be put back on the table.
Clear This control allows you to remove all chips from the table simultaneously.
Rebet This control, only available after a bet has finished, allows you to place a bet with the same chip selections you made for your previous bet.
New Game This button starts a new game.
